Visual Builder is not working when editing Divi Areas

In some cases, you might experience an issue when creating or editing a Divi Area, such as:

• The Visual Builder is not working
• Instead of the Divi Area, you see a preview of your home-page

This indicates a problem with WordPress forgetting some “editor-permissions” (that’s not the technical reason, but roughly translates to that).

In most cases, this happens after updating or activating a plugin, and is easy to fix.

Solution

Luckily, this problem can be solved with a few simple clicks:

1. Navigate to your wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks page
2. Do not change anything, just click “Save”
