13. Affiliate Links

You might encounter posts on this webpage or social media (or on other published content) where I use special links to receive a small compensation for sponsoring, endorsing or partnering with another company. In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume this to be true for any content that is marked with either the words “Affiliate link” or the hashtag #af.

When you click an Affiliate link you can make a purchase on the external affiliate company websites. These companies pay me a small commission or compensation for promoting their website or products. Those companies only pay me, when you actually make a purchase and I am not paid per click.

You will not pay anything extra to the external company – in many cases, you even get a lower price than usual. So, you have no financial or other disadvantages by using an Affiliate link.

We only use Affiliate links for products and services that we also use ourself and that we consider worth sharing. Affiliate links are not the main source of income.
