You can advertise on popular apps. They might see your ad as they are scrolling and become intrigued. Then you get an email from them expressing interest.

There is one thing that a lot of people use when they are on their smartphone, tablet, or computer/laptop: social media. They may be using it to follow the news of the day or express their own opinions on certain things or promote themselves. That last one is the main thing for you.

No, it doesn’t mean you should punch your potential clients in the face – even if one of them might make you mad. Offer them several things that they can use in their own life and then make your ask. Make your emails interesting … and then ask them to reach out to you if you have offered them anything of value.
You Can Be Flexible With Your Content
In the past, when you devoted your money to marketing, you were basically locked into what you used. There was very little flexibility – once you put the ad in the newspaper, and ran your television ad, you were limited. You were basically at the mercy of when and where those companies placed your advertisements.
That is not the case anymore. You can decide to devote more time and energy to one area if the metrics are showing that you are having more success there. There won’t be that feeling of being locked in.
This can also free you up to think more outside the box when it comes to what you do with your content. Want to have more personable social media ads? Do that.
You Can Target The Right People
Previously, while you might have a certain target audience, you had to be a little broader in terms of your content since you never knew who might see it. Now there are online marketing tools where you can choose the exact demographics that you want to target.
One example would be: Are you looking for women 20-45 who like ice cream and live in a certain radius? You can have those ads reach them. This allows you to craft things that will resonate specifically with them … and increase your chances of getting them as clients.

You have a budget and marketing can eat up a certain portion. The online aspect allows you to allocate the money more wisely … and spend less than you might have on print ads or television ads in the past. This is especially important if you are starting out and need to watch every single dollar that you have.
Online marketing is usually a lot less expensive – but you need to be wise about where you do it. Seek the places that give you the most value for the dollar. Also, seek growing markets that offer inexpensive advertising for great results.
