DiviArea.Data.createArea()

DiviArea.Data.createArea(element, type, id)

Creates a new DiviAreaItem from a jQuery element and adds it to the internal collection of available Areas.

Please use DiviArea.register() to create a new Area. This method should not be used in most cased

Params

element – jQuery, required

The jQuery element which should be turned into a Divi Area.

type – string, required

Defines the Area type – possible values are popup, flyin, inline, hover.

id – string, required

The area ID.

Returns

The newly created DiviAreaItem instance.
